We Are Available for House Sitting 😊

Hello everyone,

We are Kate and Iveta—a daughter and mother from Prague, Czech Republic. We are currently traveling and pet sitting together. Iveta is a retired architect, and Kate works in online marketing. At the moment, we are also collaborating on a photography project here in the Algarve.

We both truly enjoy spending time with animals and have extensive experience caring for them. We are empathetic and intuitive people who understand animals—especially cats and dogs. We love them, and they love us. We form connections with them quickly and naturally.

✨ Why We Love House Sitting

Our love of travel and our passion for animals come together perfectly through house sitting. We both grew up with dogs and cats and cared for them from puppies and kittens through to their senior years. They lived happy, healthy lives with us and were always cherished members of our family.

🐾 How We Work

We are dedicated to meeting each pet’s individual needs with genuine care and attention. We are patient, attentive, and always put the well-being of the animals first. Since we primarily work on our computers, we are able to spend plenty of time at home, ensuring your pets receive consistent companionship and care.

We can administer medication or vitamins if needed, provide regular walks, and groom pets such as brushing their fur. We are also happy to prepare meals tailored to their diet or any specific health requirements.

Your pets will receive lots of attention, kindness, and respect. We quickly build trust with animals, helping them feel safe, calm, and happy in our care.

✉️ Communication & Home Care

We communicate with homeowners as often—or as little—as they prefer. We enjoy sending updates, including photos and videos, so you can see how your pets are doing.

We also take great care of your home, keeping it clean and tidy throughout our stay and leaving it spotless when we depart.

House Sitting in Portimão, Algarve – Looking After Tomcat Timmy

Kate playing with Timmy We loved taking care of Timmy, a little orange rascal. He was a partially outdoor tomcat. He was a very lively and positive natured baby boy. We fed him, peted him and played with him. His favorite game was chasing a string.  He spent some time of the day outside but most of the time he wanted to spend with us. We kept the house clean and the garden watered.  This was our fourth time house sitting for the same host. Reference Incredibly professional pet sitters Kate and Iveta looked after my cat, Timmy and I couldn’t be more impressed. They stepped in on short notice, were incredibly professional, and kept me well-informed throughout. I had complete peace of mind knowing Timmy was in such capable hands. House Sitting in Albufeira, Algarve – Caring for English Bulldogs Rocky & Dexter

We like taking care of these two Buldog boys Rocky and Dexter. We fed them, played with them and we took them for their morning walks everyday.  They were sweet rascals. They loved eating their food and getting a lot of attention from us. We kept the house clean and watered the plants daily.  We also took care of three turtles and fish in the tanks. We fed them according to the exact schedule.  We enjoyed spending time with the boys. They were fun to be around. We have house-sat for this host twice. Reference Rocky & Dexter Our 2 British bulldogs adored Iveta & Kate!
